About Renraw Media

Hey! I’m Warner, founder of Renraw Media LLC. 

 

I grew up in a little town called Puna on the Big Island of Hawaii (on the rainy side). My family home wasn’t connected to the internet or cable, so it’s hilarious that I’ve built an entire career in media production… must be making up for lost time. 

 

My earliest creative ambitions began with music, learning to write songs and play guitar. I eventually got to the point where I really wanted to record my songs, but didn’t have a computer, so I started trying to figure out how to get my hands on one. In 7th grade, I found out the national park was putting on a video contest, and the first-place prize was… You guessed it, a brand-spankin' new MacBook Pro laptop. So I entered this contest, borrowing a camera from the National Park and peddling my long-outgrown BMX bike a half mile up the road to my buddy’s house to edit the footage. With fingers and toes crossed, I submitted my film and awaited the awards ceremony. 

 

I could bore you with the details of this night, as they are permanently burnt into my memory, but long story short, I actually won the contest—just not first place. I won second, and by a strange and lucky coincidence, second place won me my very first camera. The rest is history.

 

2025 marks 8 years of videography, photography, and editing being my primary source of income! Went full-time freelance in 2018 and am lucky to be going strong to this day. 

 

P.S., videography has bought me a couple of MacBook Pros thus far… and I’m currently producing my debut album, releasing Sept 2026.
